Statment

This piece is a wearable memorial for my dog, created from the very objects she once played with and slept with. By cutting, tearing, and reconstructing her old toys, and leaving one of her favorite toys untouched. I turned remnants of her presence into something I could carry with me. The necklace is soft and reconstructed, and on the back side of the piece, it has a sentimental quote about my dog and Polaroid images of her memory.
